The Grove, Carrington Care

Located approximately 4kms south west of the historic town of Camden, this 27 Ha site is located immediately to the west of the existing 71 Ha Carrington Care facility. This new ‘Smalls Road Precinct’ has been the subject of an extended planning process, from rezoning as part of the Camden LEP 2010, through to 2017 Planning Proposal approval, and now moving into detailed Development Application proposals. The masterplan provides for Large Lot Residential through to Low Density Residential to allow seniors living dwellings; a Neighbourhood Centre and a Community and Wellness Centre; and a Residential Aged Care facility. A significant E2 Zone Environmental Conservation area is to ensure the conservation of critically endangered vegetation and an area containing Aboriginal cultural heritage material.
