Blacktown Hospital

Site Image has participated in stages 1 and 2 of the Blacktown Mt Druitt Hospital expansion project. The project involved design through the large Blacktown Hospital campus as well as the Mt Druitt annex. The project was one of the largest hospital redevelopments in Australia forms a major part of health care facilities available in Western Sydney.

Working with Jacobs Architects, Site Image was involved in an intensive consultation process with users including staff, patients, carers, visitors and community members incorporating outcomes though design development to subsequent documentation of courtyards; providing respite, relaxation and covers, a dementia terrace and carparks, breakout spaces, landscape periphery areas and many other areas of this large campus.
